How to Meditate!! ![]() - You may enjoy creating a sacred space - Use candles to bring a soft, calming light. Burn essential oils or anoint yourself. Personally I love anointing myself, its like a little sacred ceremony, to enhance your meditation and elevate to bring different states of consciousness. Just dab a small amount on your third eye or heart chakra :-) Frankincense: to help you increase your faith and connection with spirit. Rose: The fragrance of love—both the human and the Divine, this romantic and sensual oil opens the heart to receive love–particularly self-love—and a deeper connection to the spirit world. Sage: Burning sage is a common ceremonial practice in many tribal cultures. It cleanses and purifies, removing negative energies. It is grounding and restores both balance and energy. Plants and crystals also help to raise the vibration of your space. ![]() -Create a Sacred Altar- To honor your Soul and life journey. Focus on the sensation of your breath as it enters your nostrils, feel your breath expanding your heart...... You can use a mantra; I love Sa, Ta, Na, Ma Saa = Infinity, totality of the Cosmos Taa = Life (birth of form from the Infinity) Naa = death (or transformation) Maa = Rebirth It is used to increase intuition, balance the hemispheres of the brain and to create a destiny for someone when there was none. This mantra describes the continuous cycle of life and creation. This mantra is a great catalyst for change. You can also meditate on a positive affirmation like '' I Am Love'' ![]() Finish with a cup of Yogi Golden Milk :-) Yum Ingredients: 1/8 teaspoon turmeric 1/2 cup water 8 ounces milk 2 tablespoons raw almond oil (I use coconut oil) Honey to taste 1 cardamom pod (optional) Cooking Instructions: Simmer turmeric in water until it forms a nice paste. Suggested cooking time is 8 minutes, you can add more water as necessary. Meanwhile, bring milk to a boil with the almond oil. As soon as it boils, remove from heat. Combine the two mixtures using a blender if desired. Add honey to taste. The cardamom may be cooked with the turmeric for added flavor. It is known to be beneficial to the inner organs, the spine and the joints. It is purifying to the blood and promotes general good health.
